Working independently, the Hyperion Software Engineer is responsible for feature design/development for Hyperion planning, forecasting, budgeting, consolidation and reporting applications supporting the finance and accounting processes for the organization. Software development processes will include requirements gathering and analysis, functional design, technical design, coding, testing, implementation, and post implementation support. This role is generally characterized by high levels of scope and independent decision making, and a high level of technical complexity within rapidly evolving technology and business environments. This role will also be responsible for program management of large scale Hyperion application implementations/integrations/upgrades touching multiple departments and levels of employees.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
Analyze, design, develop, maintain, monitor and support complex Hyperion applications (both on prem and cloud), to establish and maintain solutions that meet the established business requirements.
Provide recommendations to management, based on current and emerging technologies, on methods to reduce costs, improve performance, stability and availability

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES
Expert knowledge and consulting experience with Oracle EPM, including HFM and PBCS
Expert knowledge using the SQL language to extract and manipulate data for analytical purposes (OLAP) from any relational database as well as SSIS/DTS for data integration; SQL Server, Vertica or Google Cloud preferred
Expert knowledge of FDM/FDMEE/ODI for data loads into Planning/Essbase
Expert ability to communicate effectively with others using written and spoken English including the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback to team members
Expert ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with others; conducts working relationships in a manner acceptable to others and to the organization
