Full-time position available. Will supervise medical records activities related to maintenance of resident medical records and ROI’s, in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.
Direct office systems for medical records. Initiates new and improved methods for keeping organizational records in SNF and AL. (PHI)
Responsible for facilitating availability and access of record keeping in SNF and AL. (PHI)
Responsible for training for back up of all medical record related tasks.
Work in collaboration with Medical Records consultant to assure documentation and medical records procedures meet regulatory requirements. (PHI)
Fully understands the EMR system, including the ability to optimize, create efficiencies, and train other associates as needed to maintain compliance with all policies and procedures related to the electronic medical record. (PHI)
Works with healthcare providers, including physicians, to ensure compliance with visitation schedules in accordance with regulations, and maintains fully compliant resident records throughout the admission, stay, and discharge process. Ensures that all physician documentation in completed timely and within regulation.
Manages the physician credentialing process in coordination with administration and the risk manager. Works closely with the physicians and the office managers to obtain necessary documentation to complete the credentialing process in a timely manner.
