Purpose: Responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong professional relationships. Assist customers with new orders and advises status of orders in process. Courteously and promptly resolves customer questions and problems or properly refers them to appropriate personnel. Complete related records, reports, and documentation. Perform miscellaneous clerical duties as required. This role plays a key part in providing superior customer service to both external and internal customers.
Assumes responsibility for the accurate data entry of customer orders for specific customers
Processes orders into Macola M10 and sends to Warehouse or Supplier for processing
Checks orders for accuracy by verifying price, cost, promotions, inventory, addresses, credit status, terms, shipping method, and minimums
Acknowledges all orders within 24 hours of receipt.
Act as a problem solver and liaison between customers and supply chain, while promoting an interactive relationship with operations and sales to quickly solve issues impacting customer.
Allocates products when in short supply, and works closely with Supply Chain with any inventory issues
Monitor and assist the shipping warehouses with order shipment related issues to ensure proper processing of customer orders.
Coordinate and manage deliveries with carriers from origin to destination to ensure customer satisfaction
Assumes responsibility for effectively performing miscellaneous customer service functions
Supports decisions made by management that could affect productivity of the department
Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining professional working relations with customers
Resolves questions, requests, and problems promptly and courteously
Keeps customers informed of company policies, status of their orders, procedures, shortages, price changes and FOB changes
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
