A Project Engineer position is currently available at Belcan in Windsor, CT. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have 3+ years' experience in aerospace and a Minimum BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. You will perform customer technical service activity for Pratt & Whitney engine programs.
Project Engineer job duties:
Use Pratt & Whitney Operational Commercial Engine (OCE) and legacy engine technical engineering and publications to generate deliverables.
Create or revise technical documents for Engine Manuals which may include Clean Inspect Repair Manual (CIR), Engine Maintenance Manual (EMM), Engine Manual (EM), One time concessions (OTC), expanded limits or flight test/in service special instructions.
Make modifications to technical documents based on in service issues, released engineering changes or Quality Notifications (eQNs).
Create or revise Engineering Authorizations and other technical documents by pulling information from sources such as EagleNet, TeamCenter and FleetCare.
Create technical documents for the Control Change Board (CCB) process.
Compare draft Service Bulletin against Engineering Changes.
Answer technical questions in the EagleNet system to resolve Customer issues.
Prepare Investigation Customer Reports for results of component Root Cause and Corrective action activity.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related degree
3+ years of engineering experience with P&W commercial jet engines, including knowledge of customer technical services, aftermarket, maintenance or repair.
Team player with strong organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
