Cleaner/ Packer Position Summary

Inspect, clean, and pack product to prepare for shipping. Should have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of packaging and shipping. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Works under immediate supervision.


  • Reviews paperwork for special requirements or instructions and implement job accordingly.
  • Conducts a count of parts to ensure all are accounted for before and after cleaning.
  • Inspects each part for lint, spots, defects, scratches, or any blemishes and completes process to appropriate area.
  • Completes a wipe down of all parts and crevices and utilizes air hose when needed.
  • Conducts packaging, bagging, boxing according to special requirements per order.
  • Completes and processes all essential paperwork, routers, RFS's, stickers, etc., according to individual job.
  • Completes time tables and enter into computer.
  • Coordinates all necessary cleaning products for individual job and report when products need to be ordered.
  • Maintains, cleans, and organizes work area as needed.
  • Provides and recommends ideas and suggestions in the areas of proficiency and efficiency.
  • Assists in other areas where needed.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • 0-2 years' experience

Qualification Requirements

  • Detail oriented and with an emphasis on efficiency and communication.
  • Must be able to complete entire process of job in a timely manner.
  • Must have ability to work independently and/or in a group setting.
  • Must be able to work under supervision.
  • Must be able to read and follow detailed instructions.
  • Basic computer knowledge necessary.
