Senior Software Engineer - Reverse Engineering
Columbia, MD

We are recruiting for a senior level software engineer with expertise leading teams that are conducting reverse engineering and vulnerability assessments for performance-critical development using C++ for x86 platforms.  This is a full-time position working on-site with a federal customer. 

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Interact directly with a Government customer providing software system design reviews for performance-critical code development.

  • Lead software development teams.

  • Provide hands-on development and software modifications for system integration, performance enhancement, and upgrades.
Requirements include:

  • U.S. citizenship.

  • Current TS/SCI with polygraph.

  • 20+ years of software engineering experience with an emphasis in cyber defense.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline from an accredited university is highly desired.

  • Technical certification, military experience or additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Must hold an industry recognized certification for system security or be able to obtain certification such as:

  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) OR

  • Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)

  • Expertise leading software development teams providing system security development for penetration testing, reverse engineering malware, incident responses, and forensics.

  • Expertise writing performance-critical code using C++ for x86 platforms.

  • Reverse engineering experience including Visual Studio IDE development for Windows using WinDbd or x64Dbg.

  • Strong understanding of PE Structure/PE files including image loading, encryption, and compression.

  • Experience with malware techniques using Endpoint Protection for Windows.
