Job Description

This position is for Stevens students currently enrolled. Must have full-time status. This is a part-time hourly position. Graduate Student Assistant will be performing general administrative tasks as well as working on ad hoc projects. Primary task will be work on the SERC website maintenance and development.


  • Must have skills: Php Laraval, JavaScript, MySQL, HTML, CSS, WordPress, REST APIs,

  • Additional knowledge/understanding of Web Applications and programming languages such as: Angular JS, React JS, Mongo, Flask, Python, JQuery, D3.js

  • Docker, AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, etc.), nginx, Apache, DevOps and Agile methodologies.

  • Must have a strong background in performing CRUD operations on RESTful API

  • Understanding of database management, MVC architecture and CRM Tools.

  • Strong interest in emerging technologies.

  • Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to less technical persons and to develop successful working relationships with team members

  • Ability to work independently and under general supervision with regular reports on status of tasks, as well as part of a team with effective communication.
