We are seeking a Senior Data Management Developer to: - Partner on the creation of standards, templates, procedures, and technical frameworks for the department. - Design data warehouse workflows and mappings to extract, transform, and load data into staging areas and dimensional target tables. - Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and strong trusted-advisor relationships. Education: Minimum – Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Data Science, or related field (relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirement). Preferred – Master’s degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field strongly preferred. Work Experience: Minimum – Five (5) years relevant experience in the following: Full software development life cycle frameworks. Database technologies including traditional RDBMS such as Oracle and SQL Server as well as MPP appliances such as Netezza, Teradata, or Exadata. Advanced SQL coding with an emphasis on data transformation functions. Transformation tools such as Informatica PowerCenter, Microsoft SSIS, IBM Data Stage, etc. Experience in the health care field, specifically with systems such as Epic Clarity or CDW Preferred – Three (3) years of data or analytics experience. Experience in healthcare provider or payer strongly preferred. Licenses and Certifications: Preferred – Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) – DAMA.org, Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP) – TDWI.org, Certified Informatica Professional Epic Data Model or CDW Certifications. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: - Demonstrates professional standards surrounding data access, data security, data sensitivity, and data confidentiality. - Advanced verbal and written communication skills. - Advanced interpersonal relations skills, ability to effectively collaborate with others and work as part of a team. Physical Requirements: Sedentary: Ability to lift up to 10 pounds maximum and occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as dockets, ledgers and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one, which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and other sedentary criteria are met. W ork Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
