Equinix Worldwide Sales Strategy and Transformation Programs Team is looking to hire a dynamic Program Manager to lead Sales transformation programs.  The team is responsible for implementing strategies, tools and processes that continually increase sales efficiency and effectiveness.  We are looking for a Process Improvement Program Manager with experience working in the data center, commercial real estate or commercial construction industries.

The Process Improvement Program Manager plays an important role in identifying and prioritizing process improvement opportunities, prescribing strategies, and guiding the improvement effort. You will be responsible for leading and driving process improvements (short-term wins) as well as process design/ redesign (long-term wins) efforts. The initial program will be leading a worldwide cross functional team to enhance our go-to-market processes for xScale an exciting new division focused on our largest cloud hyperscale customers. Your role will include working closely with our Global Account teams, Sales Operations, Marketing, Customer Care, and Commercial Operations to re-engineer our processes to better support these Hyperscale/Cloud customers.


  • Identify and deliver transformational gap analysis, document current state and future state of processes across Customer Care, Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Operations

  • Track key performance metrics utilizing, Microsoft Excel, and other internal Equinix systems

  • Oversee and manage a complex, organizationally matrix-based Transformation / Redesign Programs that requires strong decision making and prioritization skills

  • Optimize sales processes, tools & frameworks in partnership with our Sales Operations & Sales teams. Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to drive improvements of sales productivity, customer experience and process optimization

  • Responsible for all aspects of program management including creating and managing project plans, communications planning and risk management ensure successful delivery against internal customer expectations

  • Provide regular status updates to global stakeholders, maintaining clear project timelines and documentation

  • Lead discussions with various stakeholders and intelligently ask the questions that get to what we are trying to solve or achieve

  • Demonstrate influencing skills to achieve solutions and manage challenging stakeholder situations leveraging the RACI matrix

  • Fully aware of standardized tools and template requirements and is a 'go to' person for feedback on the development of project/program management standards


  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent practical experience preferred

  • 7+ years of experience in Program Management preferred

  • Ability to identify root cause of problems, and ability to identify, propose, and recommend innovative solutions to diverse stakeholders

  • Passionate about improving processes for maximum efficiency and transparency

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Prior experience scoping and delivery of complex programs

  • Collaborate well in a globally distributed team environment

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification

  • Experience working with a Revenue Operations function

  • Strong documentation skills such as use cases, process flow/swim lane diagrams

  • PMP Certification
