The Quality Cheese Sampler is responsible for sampling product and performing other duties to ensure compliance with product specifications and environmental standards. The Quality Cheese Sampler is responsible for ensuring organization standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are followed to preserve integrity of the products while providing feedback for continuous improvements for the Quality System.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform product and environmental sampling with accuracy and efficiency.
Perform basic chemical titrations and accurately communicate results.
Perform general cleaning and organizational tasks.
Assist in monitoring and enforcement of Good Manufacturing Practices on a continual basis throughout the plant.
Perform basic equipment calibrations accurately, as scheduled.
Understanding of and compliance with all Quality Assurance policies, and immediate reporting of any potential food safety issues to management.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.
Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.
Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
Support safety policies and programs.

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum one (1) year of related experience required.
Knowledge of quality assurance procedures and sampling requirements required.
Demonstrate attention to detail, quality and cleanliness in work.
Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, establish priorities, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines.
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Basic computer operational skills; able to input and retrieve computerized information.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good to excellent spelling, grammar and written communication skills.
Ability to follow written, verbal and diagrammatic instructions; complete simple checklists and complete required documentation.
Ability to work with minimum supervision, adapt to a changing environment quickly, and think independently.
Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and work to maintain constructive working relationships.
