S3 has a wholly owned subsidiary, Kachemak Bay Flying Service (KBFS), that provides aviation pilot training, heavy lift, aircraft maintenance, and related aircraft services to Government and commercial requirements IAW multiple FAA certifications.

S3, Inc. is currently looking for a Property Analyst to help support the mission of the Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) Project Management Office (PMO), located in Huntsville, AL.

Position Description: This position provides the Project Management Office, Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) with programmatic assistance services to advance PMO ASE's mission of researching, developing, fielding, and sustaining ASE technology. The ASE Property Analyst supports that task serving as the authoritarian source with detailed knowledge and understandings of U.S. (DOD) and (AR) logistic policies, precedent setting decisions, procedures, and regulations, particularly in the areas of property accountability. This includes preparing, reviewing, updating, validating and revalidating source documentation impacting PMO-ASE property requirements meeting the capitalization threshold. Responsibilities include downloading and consolidating monthly required DPAS reports for auditability, preparing IEWS bi-weekly Property Status Roll-up, daily maintenance of, and DPAS activity reports, submitting required System Change Requests, serving as the Large Volume Assets Manager and scheduling and planning inventories as required. The performance of Property Analyst duties will be evaluated annually during a performance evaluation from the Program Manager and through feedback from the supported organization. The employee reports directly to the Team Lead for Logistics within the PMO.

Experience/Skills Required:

  • Proven success working on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performing all functional duties independently.
  • Overseeing the efforts of less senior staff and/or responsibility of the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job. Analysis and coordination of the property functions of a product line or organization.
  • Being responsible for the entire life cycle of a product, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposition of resources.
  • Working with commercial and government contracting laws, policies (NISPOM, FAR, DFAR), business, and automation practices.
  • Working independently, supporting the following: the functional, personnel, documentation, logistical and/or financial aspects of a small/medium acquisition program.
  • Supporting DoD weapon system requirements and acquisition programs.
  • Working with government property accountability initiatives and DoD inventory management systems.
  • Experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and the suite of Microsoft office products.

Education Required: Master's Degree with at least 10 years of direct experience or a Bachelor's Degree with at least 18 years of direct experience. In lieu of a degree, may have a High School Diploma with a minimum of 22 years of direct experience.
