Job Description:


Manages and performs analytical duties related to sales and revenue forecasting, monthly variance reporting and other statistical analysis. Provides analytical support and advice to meet other business area objectives. Duties may include leading critical projects or regulatory proceedings in support of Company initiatives.
  • Manages the development of the electric and gas sales, customers and revenue forecasts in New York and Maine using statistically valid techniques and that have credibility with stakeholders. The forecasts are in support of internal budget processes and regulatory rate-related filings.
  • Manages the development of the electric peak forecasts across AVANGRID in support of internal system planning processes, regulatory filings and associated work with NYISO and ISO-NE Load Forecasting groups.
  • Develops exhibits and assists in the development of testimony in support of rate filings with state regulators. Responds to questions and data requests from stakeholders during technical conferences and regulatory proceedings.
  • Manages and prepares monthly revenue journal entries related to various Company accounting mechanisms.
  • Manages and prepares reports for management and other stakeholders related to revenues, sales, customers, and margins. Analyzes variances related to these categories.
  • Manages and prepares monthly and annual rate filings as necessary with state regulators.

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or related field.
  • Minimum of seven years of related work experience required.
  • Proficiency in the use of SAP, complex Excel functions, and ability to manage large sets of data.
  • Experience with a statistical software application, such as MetrixND or E-Views.
