Job Description:

PREMIER Bankcard is looking for a Total Rewards Associate responsible for administering the companies leave of absence program. This position will be required to ensure and support completion of compliance related duties in accordance with company policy, state and federal leave laws.

Compensation and Schedule

Competitive hourly pay with additional pay for working premium hours. Starting wage is determined based on prior work experiences.

Full-time Hours:

Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Training Schedule:

Paid on-the-job training!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serves as the subject matter expert for PREMIER’s leave of absence programs (FMLA, general leave, military leave).

  • Act as a liaison between Employees, Management and outside vendors as needed.

  • Coordinates and administers all types of routine and complex leaves of absence.

  • Supports the approval/denial process for the employee’s leave cases based on relevant medical information.

  • Works closely with employees to ensure that all relevant documentation is completed and submitted for timely review.

  • Ensures that all confidential employee leave of absence records are kept in compliance with HIPPA and PREMIER’s policies and are closely monitored and effectively executed.

  • Work with vendor to process worker’s compensation claims in a timely manner.

  • Respond to and resolve customer service requests according to PREMIER policies in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner at all times.

  • Reviews personnel data for accuracy and enters data into Human Resources Information System (HRIS).

  • Cross-train in other Total Rewards areas such as: benefits, compensation, HRIS, wellness, and other corporate activities.

  • Assist with projects and initiatives as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Must possess basic understanding of Human Resources.

  • Prefer degree in Human Resources, Business or related field of study.

  • Combination of educations/experience that would enable incumbent to meet essential functions and required competencies of the position.

  • UltiPro experience a plus.

  • Capacity to learn, adapt to change, and become proficient quickly.

  • Candidate must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, ability to concentrate and work independently, attention to detail, and analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with Microsoft 365.

  • Knowledge and understanding of federal and state leave laws.
