Job Description:

Distinguishing Features of the Position* Preparation of overload and adjunct contracts* Responsible for documentation of confidential information of the Financial Affairs Office that pertains to faculty annual reviews and personnel files* Recordkeeping and maintenance of individual faculty files* Maintain and update Financial Affairs website home page* Preparation of PowerPoint Presentations for VPFA* Record-keeping and maintenance of faculty course loads* Create routine reports and provide administrative support* Function as resource person on academic concerns and direct students to appropriate offices* Serve as resources person for faculty/faculty committee (information databank)* Monitoring and log of all requests for changes for graduate and undergraduate catalog* Record and transcribe meeting minutes as requested by VPFA* Maintain and schedule Financial Affairs calendar utilizing OutlookExample of Duties (Illustrative)Office Support* Serve as first contact for the Vice President* Type correspondence* Type Financial Affairs annual reports* Maintain all official Financial Affairs correspondence* Prepare purchase order and check requests* Add/Drop forms* Pick up and drop off mail dailyRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities* Competent in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint* Ability to define and solve problems* Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures manuals* Excellent verbal and written skills* Highly organized and able to work independently* Committed to the mission of D'Youville CollegeEducational Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university* Minimum of five years of related work experience* Familiarity with college/university educational programs preferred
