Job Description:


Key Responsibilities:

* Contribute to the development and execution of the overall NA Beverage vision and strategy by working closely with the Vice President/Sr Director of Beverages NA. Develop and execute Category Strategies and monitor and ensure their success

* Deliver financial targets for Beverages in North America

* Identify prospect clients, develop corresponding strategy, working with sales on both and on the implementation

* Drive quality and growth of project pipeline across related categories in NAM

* Actively engage in customer key interactions along with Sales partners

* Pricing and Profitability of Strategic New Business opportunities in alignment with Sales partners and pricing office

* Drive and execute key Projects/Strategic Projects along with relevant partners (Sales, Lab Managers, etc)

* Drive and execute Request for Proposal and Request for Information in respective categories together with Sales partners

* Contribute to the transformation & growth of NA business through new business models, breakthrough ideas, white space identification, M&A, etc, in alignment with Flavor Division strategy

* Build strategic relationships with Applications, Creation, Sales, Sensory & C.I, Marketing, Innovation Leads, Global Beverage Strategic Business Unit and other Firmenich groups, and promote collaborative team work to meet needs and deliver on strategy

* Contribute input to Portfolio/Collection team about gaps in related collections

* Provide input and review profitability of overall category portfolio with Portfolio Manager and/or Pricing Office

* Align on strategic needs for respective category with Consumer Insight/Sensory and Marketing and monitor execution

* Provide input to Innovation Leads and support Innovation deployment across respective categories & customers

* Leverage best practices ideas, ways of working across other segments with respective Business Development Managers/Directors


* Bachelor s Degree in Food Science with business experience or Marketing/Business with strong technical understanding

* +10 years of experience in Flavors or Ingredients for Food/BE Industry

* Previous experience driving a category or sales territory
