Overview We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our Security & Resiliency team. Cybersecurity Engineers have responsibility for providing thought leadership across security technology areas and aligning with both the business and cybersecurity objectives. In this role, you will be expected to contribute to initiatives across Cybersecurity, and work as a member of a larger team that focuses on priority-driven items which change based on need. The Cybersecurity Engineer integrates deep subject matter expertise with: Industry experience In-depth knowledge of professional standards and trends within area of expertise of information security Relevant related disciplines Business goals and strategy Understands impact of emerging business trends and their implications for Dell and its customers Develops complex solutions to business problems or customer engagements through in-depth analysis, coordination and negotiation with key stakeholders Adapts and integrates own experience with Dell-wide strategy Develops innovative solutions to problems without precedent Decisions are strategic in nature, have long-term consequence, and tend to relate to business strategy, financial performance and effective resource Key Responsibilities Enhance data security and protection platforms according to business need through designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale systems, across multiple hardware and software platforms in a large-scale hybrid environment Support and manage a large Enterprise / multi-domain Active Directory Forest (50,000+ Object) Leverage scripting, automation and configuration management tools to accelerate the deployment and enhance the security posture of Tier 0 assets Operate and solve issues in modern virtualized, on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments Plan and implement security features/components of Azure DLP, AD, and Office 365 such as Azure AD Identity Protection, Self-Service Password Reset, Azure MFA, and Azure Information Protection Design and develop robust APIs across the gamut of technologies within the data security and protection domain Work in collaborative team environment utilizing Agile development methodologies, mentoring teammates, and learning cross functional skills to support a range of technologies as a product offering Essential Requirements 7+ years of professional experience deploying and maintaining AD infrastructures in enterprise environments In-depth knowledge, experience and deep understanding of: Active Directory (AD) Attributes, LDAP Queries, PowerShell Scripting to Modify AD Attributes, Group Policy Analysis, GPO Configuration & Item-Level Targeting, and Workstation Configuration In-depth knowledge and understanding of IT systems, domains, enterprise applications, DNS, and networking Hands-on experience with data loss prevention (DLP) / data protection technologies Knowledge of APIs and general software development skills Knowledge of virtualization concepts and design standards Desired Requirements Bachelor s degree or equivalent relevant work experience Knowledge of general cryptography Knowledge of SSL certificate lifecycle management Agile methodology experience Key Characteristics Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues Strong verbal and written communication skills, with emphasis on technical writing skills and the ability to explain complex problems to nontechnical teams Ability to build effective relationships with people at all levels Customer-oriented with a strong interest in customer satisfaction
