JOB REQUISITION #:030057 Recycling Sales Associate- San Jose (Open)

JOB DESCRIPTION:POSITION OVERVIEW n

Our Recycling Associate spends their day retaining existing vendor relationships and generating new leads for scrap paper recovery for recycling at their respective plant. The offices are located at the Recycling Facilities, which are scrap paper yards. We are looking for creative, outgoing people to fill this position. Performing Waste Audits and identifying opportunities is key. Greif has invested in implementing Commercial Single Stream Recycling at its plants and need personnel to procure this material for the plants. It is a salary based position with multiple incentive opportunities. There is a 4 week training process before representatives are put in the field.n nWHAT IT TAKES TO BE SUCCESSFUL:n

n * Analyze market data and implement marketing strategies

n * Creating and modifying proposals / reviewing contractual agreements

n * Conveying information between plant operations, vendors and customers

n * Ability to use Information Technology for decision making and work organization

n * A valid driver s license with clean driving record
