Tantus Technologies, Inc. (Tantus) - recognized by the Washington Post as a Top Workplace - is seeking a passionate Angular developer to work directly within our UX team. The Senior Developer will be responsible for designing and developing compelling user interface as well as setting technical standards around all user-facing products.

What You'll Do

  • Lead a team of developers in support of Human-Centered Design and User Experience initiatives
  • Work with UX team to develop Design Systems, Live Code demos, and Prototypes
  • Cultivate a strong collaborative relationship with the UX team to ensure optimal integration between technology and design
  • Develop and govern component libraries to be consumed by feature and integration teams
  • Continually audit and assist in the implementation of Web Accessibility Standards like Section 508 and WCAG
  • Establish strong coding standards surrounding all user-facing code bases including unit testing, coding style, abstraction, and patterns
  • Develop well-structured, maintainable and easy to understand code
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Conduct peer code-reviews to ensure adherence to patterns and standards
  • Assist integration teams with the application of UX design systems and component libraries
  • Promote a practice of learning by being available to mentor other developers
  • Participate in the user story grooming and estimation sessions to refine product backlog
  • Analyze technical requirements, design applications, identify new technologies, and integrate solutions into client's infrastructure
  • Adhere to Agile SDLC methodology and configuration management guidelines and processes

Must Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in information technology, computer science, information management, or relevant work experience
  • 5+ years building high-quality and secure applications using Angular 5+ framework
  • Strong proficiency with Node and NPM
  • Strong proficiency with HTML/CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript
  • Expertise in Web Accessibility Standards
  • Familiarity with .NET framework 4.X and C# coding
  • Experience writing and consuming RESTful web services using Web API
  • Familiarity writing SQL for Microsoft SQL Server
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and common design patterns like Dependency Injection, MVC, et al.
  • Familiarity with asynchronous programming
  • Experience working in Agile development environments
  • US Citizenship
