Primary Location: 3400 New Hyde Park Rd, North Hills, NY, USA Division: Cox Automotive Job Level: Individual Contributor Travel: Yes, 5 % of the Time Schedule: Full-time Shift: Day Job Requisition Number: 207175 A technical understanding of Microsoft Server OS, Active directory, and other Windows applications. The Primary objective is to build, support, patch, and maintain all components of Microsoft server environments. Understanding of how to manage server permissions via AD and GPO Responsible for patching and updating servers to the latest patches or OS versions. Responsible for troubleshooting application failures on Windows OS. Design, code, test and debug deployment frameworks to drive CI/CD and quality improvements Work with Development teams to ensure solutions are being built based on software & infrastructure architecture. Assuring the highest levels of availability for all monitored applications and products including general site availability and response time. Provide system documentation as needed: including architectural diagrams, process and data flowcharts Build, automate and support applications/infrastructure Assists in maintenance of the application environments. Participating in an on-call rotation Collaborate with developers to implement best practices Seek out potential threats to security and reliability and advocate solutions Qualifications: Bachelor s degree with 3+ years working experience; or 7+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Windows Server 2008 to 2019, Active Directory, IIS, .Net, Power shell Scripting and SCCM Ability to manage AWS automation technologies 3+ years of experience as a DevOps and/or Release Engineer 3+ years of experience CI/CD Process 3+ years of experience Build and release automation tools (Jenkins/Octopus/GIthub) 3+ years of experience Load Balancing (F5) Experience with Monitoring principles and tools Splunk Datadog ExtraHop New Relic Knowledge of basic networking (TCP/IP fundamentals) Experience with scripting languages (Python, powershell, node.js, and etc.) Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with different teams. Familiar with any configuration management tools : SaltStack Strong working experience with servers, virtualization, hypervisors Ability to troubleshoot complex solutions and derive at appropriate actions to take Preferred Experience: Experience with Infrastructure as Code Experience with Docker SSL Certificate Management Experience with Terraform AWS, GCP and cloud platform familiarity Have relevant and current industry certifications (MCSE / MCSA / CCNA etc.) Who We Are About Cox Automotive There s nothing ordinary about Cox Automotive.
