Innovation Product Lead at Employbridge in Santa Barbara, California

Job Description:

* Gather and prioritize product, service, and customer requirements; define the solution vision from contact with customers and prospects, industry expertise and opinion leaders, related product groups, sales, and industry research

* Develop product specifications and the interactive mock-ups or prototypes required for demonstration and development of the solutions, using appropriate tools and techniques

* Develop a multi-year product roadmap that supports and drives achievement of the venture's goals

* Plan, manage, and oversee all the team's development activities, including coordination of internal and external resources, schedules, and budgets (CapEx and Opex)

* Devise an infrastructure and process for agile development, product-line testing, maintenance, phased iterative release, and customer support to ensure that the Initiative's product and service lines meet and exceed customer expectations

* Collaborate with venture team and pilot customers in refining value proposition, positioning, functionality, pricing, and sales support materials


* 5+ years of experience in product management, with experience building early-stage products from conception through launch and beyond

* 3+ years of experience in developing software applications

* 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role such as sales, consulting, or sales engineering

* P&L management experience

* Exceptional strategic orientation

* Ability to navigate the abstract, distill, and make concrete

* Previous startup experience
