For over 30 years, New Season Treatment Centers have been a leading national health care service provider of outpatient treatment centers that specialize in providing safe, quality and best in class care for individuals living with Opioid Use Disorder (\\"OUD\\").
Operating in over 70 treatment centers in multiple states, our team members are engaged in medication-assisted treatment, counseling, support, and care management of individuals living with OUD. We treat the whole person and, in so doing, address the underlying causes of OUD in an effort to provide a continuum of care that not only addresses treatment needs but supports the patient on their journey to recovery. Job Summary: This position will manage the Pharmacy staff (nurses) to ensure high quality of patient care is provided on a daily basis.
The Nursing Service Coordinator will maintain continuity among nursing teams, and clinical pharmacy staff, by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing professional needs.
Documents patient care services by charting in patient files and following patient records
Consults on all induction patients and doses when able, as well as reviews medication records weekly for accuracy and implementation with CMG policies
Medicates patients as needed to ensure patients are receiving treatment as quickly and high quality as possible
Evaluates the dosing of Special Care patients
Monitors and tracks, with Medical Director approval, the Prescription Monitoring Program based on CMG policy and state mandates
Is responsible for ensuring the Pharmacy is opened and closed in accordance with CMG policy
Is responsible for ensuring that staffing protocols are followed and establishes the nursing schedule
Works directly with the PD in creating a monthly nurse schedule for each pharmacy
Oversees the inventory process of all medications, working directly with PD on order completion.
Is responsible for assisting with marketing and ensuring that the facility maintains a positive relationship with the community
Provides, HIV, Pregnancy, TB, and as needed medical information to patients and staff. Conducts patient education groups on these topics
Completes documented supervision with nursing staff members
Oversees evaluation of the nursing performance to include direct management of the nursing staff
Oversees the interviewing and recruiting nurses
Coordinates care as needed with outside physicians to ensure proper protocols are followed for patients
Immediately reports any concerns to the Program Director
Oversees the administering all take-home medication
Documents and evaluates Diversion Control procedures (patient call backs, etc.)
Is instrumental in the treatment team meetings by presenting any patient medical needs to the Team.
Provides training and continuing education to nurses in one or multiple clinics
Tracks and monitors pharmacy reports for trends and accuracy prior to submission
Monitors patients time in line, and makes adjustments as needed to ensure a less than five minute average wait time.
Attends monthly MARS reviews with RD or assigns a designee when unable to attend
Ensures that all nursing staff have attended Induction training with CMO
Tracks and manages LMS completion for all nurses in clinics covered
Is availabe as a \\"licensed resource\\" for dosing nurses in the clinics during all dosing hours
Enusre pharmacy licensing and required record keeping are organized and up to date
Work with the Nursing team to manage the intake process
Work closely with PD, Medical Director, RD and ZD
Works closely with Education to enusre consistency with on boarding new nurses
Medical Services Coordinator General Responsibilities:
Under the direction or supervision of the Medical Director, the Nursing Services Coordinator will administer, or oversee administration of medications, in accordance with physician order(s) and will document or oversee documentation of all administered dosages, by the best means available, whether that method be electronically, or manually.
The Nursing Services Coordinator will maintain or have overall responsibility for maintaining absolute accuracy in daily accounting of the medications that are supplied to patients and maintained in inventory, in secure storage.
The Nursing Services Coordinator shall implement or oversee implementation of infection-control policies and protocols, medication storage procedures, policies and procedures regarding controlled substance regulations and confidentiality.
The Nursing Services Coordinator will place or oversee the placing of orders for medication supplies. Additionally, this position will ensure that there is sufficient scheduling coverage for order placing and that all nursing staff is effectively cross-trained for such ordering and that receipt of ordered medications is facilitated with accuracy and efficiency upon the arrival of the medication.

The successful Lead Nurse will contribute to the Clinical Treatment Team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
will maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; calling for assistance from health care support personnel, as needed.
will ensure the operation of all clinical pharmacy equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; and evaluating new equipment and techniques. This is inclusive of, but not limited to, such equipment as breathalyzer units, pharmacy dosing computers and printers, medication administration water supply, secure medication storage, and the clinical pharmacy alarm sub-structure.

Essential Registered Nurse Qualifications:

Education/Licensure/Certification: Licensed RN in the State
Required Knowledge: Understanding of opiate addiction; medical terminology; knowledge of the principles and practices of professional nursing, of health promotion and disease prevention. Ability is required to perform assessments and nursing functions as acquired in the basic nursing preparation program.
Experience Required: 3+ years progressive professional-level experience in the Nursing field. Previous supervisory nursing experience preferred.
Skill and Ability:
Knowledge and skill in the application of professional nursing theory.
Knowledge of medications, their proper dosage, effects and contraindications.
Working knowledge of opiate addiction, and infection control.
Ability to organize assigned work.
Ability to make written reports and documentation.
