J. J. Keller has a FULL-TIME opening in one of our fastest growing departments called Managed Services. This department is comprised of fleet and regulatory compliance experts who clients rely on to off-load the time consuming / complex tasks of managing driver safety and vehicle compliance. Our internal team of 300+ compliance associates perform work to ensure our clients stay up-to-date on various regulatory requirements. Given the fast growth in this department, we’ve had a successful track record of seeing associates join this team and continue to grow in their careers with the company.
In this Office Operations role, you will be responsible for editing and correcting client data for fuel tax reports in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment. In this role, you will work closely with team members to meet and exceed client expectations.
Verifies, analyzes and corrects client data used to produce fuel tax reports. Makes corrections or returns documents to client for corrections as appropriate.
Ensures timely receipt and entry of fuel and toll billings.
Reviews MPG's for accuracy and ensures corrections are made as necessary.
Ensures timely closure of Fuel & Mileage monthly and quarterly reports for clients.
Identifies and communicates fuel and mileage trends that can improve tax savings and/or minimize audit exposure for clients.
Works directly with internal team to obtain and validate information.
Performs other duties as assigned.
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
Associate's degree preferred.
3+ years of experience in a general office setting, preferably in a deadline-driven environment.
In lieu, will consider a combination of experience and post-secondary education.
Must be proficient in the use of a PC and MS Office Suite, with intermediate to advanced excel skills preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Good organizational skills.
Desire to meet and exceed client expectations.
Ability to analyze documents for accuracy.
Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time. Occasional travel to offsite offices, customer sites and/or industry and training events may also be required, depending on assignment.
