Overview
This position is responsible for full cycle invoicing for large volume customers on a weekly and monthly basis. The Client Billing Specialist is also responsible for accurately providing the invoice detail, answer any client related questions, ensure deadlines are met, and perform research, analysis, and any adjustments to the billing.
Responsibilities
Finalize, prepare, and transmit final weekly/monthly bills to customers in a timely fashion.
- Identifying and resolve any billing errors.
- Complete billing month end close within prescribed deadlines.
- Work closely with the Collections/Accounts Management team to ensure that billing issues are resolved in a timely manner that results in prompt collections ability.
- Follow up and resolve internal/external client communication.
- Managing and maintaining contract document database including scanning, pricing review and retrieving as requested.
- Cognos report data analysis.
- Contribute billing information to internal departments and resolve any pricing issues; identify billing system improvements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or 2 year degree equivalent
- Strong knowledge of billing and account reconciliation.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
- A positive and professional individual with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Understanding ROI a plus.
- Team player, work independently with little supervision, and professional work ethic.
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications. Intermediate to advanced Excel and Word experience a must.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
