SUMMARY

* Position Summary

* The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Unit Coordinator performs clerical duties for the Unit and acts as receptionist to patients and visitors arriving in the department. Utilizes computer to update pertinent patient information. Performs Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) duties as appropriate for the unit and as qualified.

* Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

* Education: High school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent is preferred

* License/Certifications: Active Certified Nursing Assistant (Maine) required. BCLS certification, CPI annually as directed by organization.

* Experience: Medical secretarial background and knowledge of medical terminology preferred

* Detail-oriented and able to complete projects independently
