S&OP Business Analyst

As an S&OP business analyst you will be responsible for building and maintaining operational plans that connect supply chain capabilities to the company s financial and strategic long-range growth plans. You will work with partners in inventory management, merchandise planning, financial planning and supply chain strategic planning to understand future business goals and translate them into expectations of volume flows throughout Renfro s supply chain. A role in the planning team at Renfro means you will have the opportunity to contribute to an emerging team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* The S&OP business analyst will help facilitate the monthly S&OP cycle to ensure alignment across functions and senior management to drive business decisions

* Ensure accountable and appropriate inputs from all sources (Demand Planning, Sales Operations, Financial Planning, Inventory Planning, Supply Planning & Sourcing) into each step of S&OP cycle

* Own the design, development and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analysis, dashboards, etc. to drive key sales and operations planning decisions and process improvements

* Future state would be integration with an S&OP system, work through the RFP/RFI process once approved

* Create, monitor, and maintain S&OP metrics and key performance indicators, identifying resulting risks and opportunities to help drive business decisions

* Consolidate and analyze demand and supply information for the operational, tactical and strategic plans

* Use existing data for business intelligence to develop trend analysis and business strategies across the supply chain

* Compiles and analyzes business data and metrics using Power BI and MS Excel

* Develops and/or refines data collection and analysis tools to measure and manage processes or business metrics

* Create dashboards in Power BI to support key performance indicators for demand & capacity/supply planning with the aim to extend this to other key departments

* Become a key contributor for supply chain integration strategic initiative which aligns planning, quality, sourcing, logistics and manufacturing through new projects

* Interface with other technology teams to extract, transform and load data from a wide variety of data sources

* Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, optimization and documentation

* Support ad hoc and established gap analysis

* Respond to high priority requests from senior business leaders

* Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for secondary datasets

* Adhere to company policies, including attendance and punctuality

* Communicate with co-workers, management and others in a courteous and professional manner;

* Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions including but not limited to confidentiality requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

* Bachelor s degree in business, engineering, supply chain management or equivalent. Masters/MBA a plus

* 2-4 years of relevant work experience or a master s degree

* Certification in ASCM CPIM/CSCP preferred but not required

* Knowledge of S&OP strongly preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

* Highly proficient in MS Excel (Power Query, VBA)

* Proficient with MS PowerPoint & Access (Query Design)

* Business Intelligence tools knowledge (Power BI, Tableau or Qlik View)

* Experience with a planning system a plus

* Ability to function well in a highly collaborative role

* Ability to navigate and work effectively in a large corporate matrix organization

* Must be a team builder and able to motivate groups of people working in a variety of functional areas

* Ability to develop and coach team members and recognize high potentials as future leaders

* Self-starter with proven experience in delivering results to an organization.
