I. Job Summary | Major goals and objectives.
The Sr. Manager, Social Strategy is responsible for overseeing social growth strategies across brands working with senior members of Growth, Edit, Video, and Digital. They should have excellent knowledge and understanding of social acquisition with a focus on driving results. This includes driving sessions (traffic to website), ecommerce on social, and building/growing brands. This person is responsible for identifying impactful tests, conducting analyses and process to help us achieve goals through marketing campaigns & programs. They should have experience working with cross-functional groups to drive process, communication and results. The ideal candidate is data driven with keen understanding of metrics and possesses the ability to derive meaningful insights through deep-dives and testing. In this role, a focus on innovation and storytelling with an eye for content and creative is critical, along with strong social platform knowledge including user-behavior, content and product features.

II. Essential Job Functions
30%
Develop growth models for social channel optimization, experiments and new initiatives. Oversee social roadmap for assigned brands to ensure the roadmap is aligned with OKRS and company goals. Help social strategists prioritize work and initiatives based upon performance and tracking to goals.

Identify cross-brand opportunities to derive insights, best practices and synergies to grow social acquisition. Develop roadmap for brand and vertical analysis, working with BI to uncover trends, best practices and strategies. Focus on meaningful learnings, patterns, and sustainable/replicable tactics.

Manage vertical & Meredith digital social operations with focus on collaboration, efficiency and knowledge sharing. Serve as an expert on tools, platforms and metrics to inform process. Develop documentation to serve as a social \\"playbook\\".
10%
Act as a liaison with contacts at social platforms and vendors for verticals. Ensure new products, features and insights are delivered to brand/vertical teams with a focus on action/next steps. Work with social strategists to develop plans for their brands including additional resources or needs from other groups (i.e. Video, Edit).
15%
Own communication and relationship management with key senior stakeholders across org (growth, edit, BI, GM, video, product). Represent Social Strategy team at high-level meetings and presentations. Maintain strong ability to articulate business use cases and resource investment.

III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.
Education:
BA or BS

Experience:
At least 8+ years of social media experience and 3-5 years managing social team members.

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Proficient in social analysis, growth models and campaign tracking.
* Expertise in social media platforms (Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook and Twitter).
* Experience managing complex, collaborative projects with multiple stakeholders.
* Must be highly organized with excellent follow-through. Demonstrated project management skills especially the ability to manage multiple priorities working alongside a variety of groups within Meredith digital.
* Superior communication skills; verbal and written. Ability to quickly articulate strategy and deliver vision to senior leaders across organization.
* Ability to take initiative and act proactively.
* Responsible for social operations (account management, vendor management, social content strategy).
*Skilled in using Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint), Google Analytics, Chartbeat, (or similar tool- Pars.ly) CrowdTangle
