Job Description:
Community-based position working for Healthy Start program. Healthy Start offers services and support for mothers, children, and their families before, during and after pregnancy.
Fatherhood Engagement Specialist will specialize in connecting to and engaging fathers/male partners to promote healthy family involvement and relationships.
Responsibilities include:
* Conduct community outreach to recruit and engage at-risk, target-area fathers;
* Provide parenting education utilizing evidenced-based treatment models and curriculum;
* Provide health education and promotion activities;
* Facilitate fatherhood curriculum in the home, community, and group settings
* Create a culture of respect including awareness of ethical, culturally-sensitive, and trauma-informed interactions;
* Participate in regular supervision on clinical and administrative issues;
* Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans;
* Maintain timely and accurate clinical records in accordance with organization policies;
* Maintain effective working relationships with clinical team and community referral sources;
* Maintain necessary communications and reporting with referral sources and other involved parties as approved by client; and
* Complete other duties as assigned.

Pay for this position is an hourly rate from $11.45 - $16.00 depending on experience and education
Travel is required. Position covers 3 counties.
Minimum of 2 years relevant college degree or related experience is required. Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Bilingual preferred.
