The May Center School for Autism and Developmental DisabilitiesinRandolph, MAis

looking for an Assistant Clinical Director.

The May Center School for Autism and Developmental Disabilities offers full-day, year-round educational services to children and adolescents. We base our programs on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, or ABA, which has been shown through hundreds of scientific studies to be the most effective method to teach children and adolescents with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Under the direction of the Clinical Director, the ACD is responsible for the ensuring delivery of behavioral services to the students by supervising the daily implementation of behavior support plans and daily programming.

Responsibilities:

The ACD ensures that students' goals are implemented in accordance with their Individualized Educational Plans and Behavior Support Plans.

Required to implement physical management procedures as needed, using Safety Care approved interventions.

-
Responsible for the direct supervision of staff implementing student programs and BSPs to ensure students are provides with an intensive, therapeutic program designed to increase their skills in the areas of communication, social skills, and other appropriate behaviors and reduce their challenging behaviors.

Conducts weekly graph reviews on student programming and target problem behaviors.

Conducts behavior assessments and/or analyses as needed to update or identify the function of challenging behavior and develops appropriate behavior support plans (BSP).

Trains new staff members on behavior support plans and protective measures/physical management procedures for assigned students.

Assist Clinical Director in developing systems to improve quality of service delivery.

Attends IEP meetings for assigned students and reports out on behavioral progress.

Provides BCBA/internship supervision to staff members enrolled in behavior analysis degree programs.

Qualifications:

-
Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field

-
Must have BCBA for 2-3 years

-
Previous experience working with individuals that exhibit significantly challenging behaviors

-
Strong verbal and written communication skills

-
Experience administering and supervising functional behavior assessment methodologies.

Valid US Driver's License
