Job Description:
IDEXX is looking for a highly motivated, dynamic, experienced Product Manager to join our Reference Lab Innovation & Technology Investigation Team. As an innovation expert and business strategy leader, you will:
- Be a pioneer to identify and holistically evaluate new technologies that could provide significant value to our veterinary customers, pets, and IDEXX.
- Effectively create and foster internal and external connections to uncover new and disruptive technologies.
- Lead cross-functional teams to vet through technologies and create internal business cases
- Manage program stakeholders, including core team, sub-project teams, steering committees and vendors as applicable and others.
- Coordinate activities and ensure effective communication across teams.
- Lead meetings and participant communications to drive decisions and action items.
- Provide for effective escalation and resolution of issues and concerns.
- Effectively communicate the business opportunity, recommendations, and risk to key stakeholders
- Participate in outside industry groups and forums related to business activities.
Key qualifications
- B.S. in science or technical related field. MBA preferred.
- At least 10+ years of work-related experience
- Previous experience in molecular diagnostics/genomics preferred
- Previous experience in upstream innovation with a strong growth mindset and technical curiosity. Strong analytical skills with specific experience in market research (qualitative & quantitative) & competitive analysis
- Ability to develop and deliver clear, compelling, and concise presentations to Sr. Leadership
- Strong collaborator with demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, providing clarity of goals/next steps in the early stages of ambiguity
- Experiencing managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment
