Job Description:

As Compensation Specialist, you have the overall responsibility of applying the global compensation and mobility strategies to the NA region that support the attraction, retention and motivation of employees. In this role, you will advise and counsel HRBPs in NA on matters related to compensation and global mobility. In addition, you will advise on unique regional circumstances and act as a consultant by providing guidance on all compensation related programs within North America. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate strategic agility, business acumen and strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills, as well as be proactive and not afraid to take decisions. Thanks to your flexible and open approach, you ensure a smooth coordination with the different stakeholders .

Job Description

You Will Spend Your Time:

Evaluating jobs using the Hay/Korn Ferry methodology.

Acting as a consultant to HRBPs to provide input and review compensation proposals for new hires, promotions & off-cycle salary increases; understanding and communicating to Global Compensation where there may be concerns / issues

Responsible for preparing cost estimates and advising HRBPs on global mobility processes. Own the regional relationship with tax consultant and relocation providers. Responsible for international assignment letters. Identify areas of improvement.

Supporting the annual compensation cycle for the region, including training HRBPs.

Providing advice to the HR People Services Team on total rewards polices and processes to ensure professional HR guidance is given and carried out in line with the company's corporate policies and values

Job Requirements

-Understanding and working knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations related to compensation (i.e., Wage and Hour; FLSA)

--3 to 5 years of expertise in regional and/or global compensation and mobility programs

Proficient in Total Compensation Principles and Compensation Program Design and Delivery

-Experience working in a matrixed environment, with multiple decision makers

-Knowledge of Global Mobility, having partnered with immigration law firms and understanding of global mobility best practices

-2 years in a role with consulting/influencing Human Resources leaders

-Financial Analysis Knowledge

-Experience executing compensation benchmarking initiates

-Knowledge and experience evaluating jobs

-Bachelor's Degree or equivalent knowledge required
