Our Sales & Business Development teams collaborate with customers and partners across the globe to help them leverage the DocuSign Agreement Cloud to transform the entire system of agreement process-from preparing to signing, acting on, and managing contracts and other types of agreements. Our team's partner with some of the largest most innovative companies in the world in dozens of industries to bring the power of DocuSign to more customers. Whether you are selling to a small business or a large enterprise, you will apply your extensive knowledge of our solutions, and leverage our strategic partnerships to help our customers grow their top and bottom line.

This Position

DocuSign is growing fast and we are looking for people to join our high performance team who are excited to make a difference and help wherever needed. The Solution Engineer will support our inside Enterprise Corporate Sales team by helping understand complex customer business challenges and requirements in order to translate them into solutions leveraging DocuSign's Agreement Cloud solutions. This position reports to the Director of Solution Engineering for enterprise sales.

Responsibilities

- Uncover and document complex customer business needs, processes, and internal architecture

- Prescribe custom solutions leveraging the DocuSign Agreement Cloud offerings to meet and exceed customer business needs

- Build custom presentations and demonstrations of proposed solutions that address specific customer needs, showcase relevant business value, and address technical concerns

- Be a strategic partner to Sales by proactively recommending next steps to efficiently obtain technical wins for prescribed solutions

- Use your natural technical curiosity to fuel your learning to become a technical expert on all current and future DocuSign Agreement Cloud offerings

- Exhibit passion and confidence in your engagements with your customers, Sales counterparts, and teammates

- Continually challenge yourself and teammates to raise the bar for how we go to market to increase our efficiency, effectiveness, and sense of reward in our role

Basic Qualifications

- 2+ years of prior experience within a mid-market or enterprise level pre-sales role selling SaaS solutions and concepts

- BS/BA degree or equivalent in relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications

- 3+ years prior pre-sales SaaS experience selling to Enterprise customers

- Skilled in delivering software demonstrations in-person and virtually

- Experience with technical business documentation including business process flows, architectural diagrams, proposals, RFPs and RFIs, etc.

- Proven experience working with customers from all levels and business units within an organization

- Familiarity with Enterprise-class software systems such as ERP, CRM, and ECM systems

- Familiarity w/system integration methods including web services utilizing SOAP and REST APIs

- Familiarity with web-based solutions, website development, HTML, XML, and structured data

- Familiarity with electronic signature and CLM concepts a plus

- Willingness to travel 20% or more as needed (post pandemic)
