Job Description:

As Process Engineer you will join an Engineering Team that supports manufacturing of consumable tests and automated assembly equipment. The Process Engineer will have process ownership of equipment including Developing and improving monitoring systems for process metrics such as capability, efficiency, utilization and yield. Developing experimental designs for initial process settings and generating and executing process validation plans.

Required Hours: 2nd shift (2:30pm - 11pm) Monday - Friday

What you can expect in this role
-
You will utilize Lean, Six Sigma and other quality and reliability improvement techniques in ongoing work, and participates in related projects.

You will support continuous improvement activities to resolve quality or to improve efficiency using data driven solutions to justify changes and support formal change management process

You will apply your analytical skills using Excel, JMP and support of SPC systems with the ability to present results.

You will be responsible for lead and develop validation of processes and equipment functionality independently.

You will recommend and justify equipment and tools used for processing and manages implementation to meet cost, quality and schedule goals.

You will utilize appropriate levels of verification and validation when qualifying and implementing new tools or processes.

You will ensure processes remain ISO compliant. Develops specifications associated with process output and determine test methods for specification compliance.

You will generate SOPs and work instructions and conducts training of personnel in the methods and techniques used.

You will work with product development teams to provide support and services in areas of functional and skill expertise. Learns and becomes expert on the technical aspects of the product(s) in area(s) of responsibility.

You will coordinate with other functional areas to plan and implement work and exchange information.

What You Will Need to Succeed
-
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
-
At least 8 years of Process Engineering experience
-
Experience in ISO, USDA or other compliant environments preferred.

You are ableto meet the physical requirements that go with working on the production floor - standing for 2hr+, sitting, phone & computer use, extended reach, lifting up to 50lb, occasionally climb, kneel, or bend, and specific vision ability - close, color, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
