Haven is looking for a strong Nursing Leader to join our team as Nursing Director. The ideal team member will have a strong team dynamic, the ability to move forward with current and new training needs and work closely with executive leadership.
Haven Behavioral Hospital of Dayton is a 59 bed licensed, acute care behavioral hospital that provides a safe, nurturing environment for the treatment of complex mental health and substance abuse issues. We offer innovative, customized inpatient treatment programs, customizing our care based on individual needs and preferences. POSITION SUMMARY:
- Oversees the operations of the Nursing department, including the delivery of nursing services.
- Actively participates in the Performance Improvement and Risk Management programs.
- Interprets accreditation and regulatory standards and implements processes to ensure compliance.
- Develops and implements goals, policies and protocols.
- Serves as the Infection Prevention/Control Officer. Responsible for providing oversight and direction for the hospital Infection Prevention Program.

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program, Master's preferred.

EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years of psychiatric nursing experience, with minimum of 3 years consisting of management/administrative/director of nursing experience.
