About The Job
Sandy Spring Bank is currently recruiting a Mortgage Banker. If you are the chosen candidate, you will acquire and deepen relationships with clients through comprehensive needs based promotion and marketing of mortgage products. In addition, you will develop and work with centers of influence to expand our client base. You will be required to deliver strong results in mortgage and home, land and construction lending products, and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, while providing exceptional service throughout the sales process. You will serve as client's chief point of contact with Sandy Spring throughout the life of the loan. You will also insure that we are meeting the client's total financial needs by appropriately cross-selling bank products and services.

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of mortgage and real estate principles spanning the variety of product offerings available to the borrower

Must be eligible for NMLS registration

Process strong aptitude for sales and business development to meet established production goals

Must be highly motivated and goal driven

Must have strong communications skills, both written and verbal

Abilitiy to prepare and make presentations to realtors, builders and/or borrowers
-
Possess outstanding time management and organizational skills

Ability to use computer systems is required

Have appropriate interpersonal skills and maintain a positive rapport with clients and co-workers
