Job Description Summary

The Pastry Attendant prepares a variety of desserts, pastries and other sweet goods. The Pastry Attendant will also lead classes and events with guests, guiding them through decorating pastry items.

Job Description

• Perform all prep as assigned by Chef


• Properly set up station according to guidelines


• Master assigned station and assist others as needed


• Monitor food quality


• Assists guests in constructing pastry items


• Create a fun and enjoyable environment during instructed pasty demonstrations


• Prepare dishes according to guidelines


• Maintain cooking technique and presentation standards


• Complete special projects and deep cleaning as assigned by Chef


• Return all items to their zoned locations


• Clean and stock station before checking out with Chef


• Properly set up station according to guidelines


• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. The employee is expected to work in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist operations to perform job duties not necessarily contained in this job description.
