American Renal Associates, a national provider of quality dialysis services, is experiencing rapid growth and we are searching for the right individuals to help continue our superb performance. We are currently accepting applications for the following position in our Corporate Headquarters, located at the modern and convenient Cummings Center in BEVERLY, MA:

HELP DESK SENIOR HARDWARE SPECIALIST

The Help Desk Senior Hardware Specialist is responsible for all hardware support items. This includes but is not limited to installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading all PC hardware and peripherals to ensure optimal workstation/device performance and security. This individual possesses strong PC repair skills and utilizes a customer service approach when troubleshooting issues, with the ability to present information effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Build and maintain clonezilla images

* Have experience imaging devices using sysprep

* Maintain local inventory

* Image new systems and transfer data from user s old machines to the new ones.

* Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows ACLs.

* Manage loaner devices

* Update tickets on status of hardware and gather more information if needed.

* Run diagnostics (AST) on equipment and complete simple onsite repairs.

* Maintain quality control of reused systems.

* Utilize and maintain helpdesk tracking software. Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk.

* Make process improvement suggestions to streamline hardware imaging.

* Work with others in Information Technology to coordinate various IT functions so that solutions and knowledge are shared easily and promptly.

* Be part of the call center for a portion of the day to achieve First Call Resolution.

* Possess the ability to analyze, assess and resolve complex system level software issues

* Troubleshoot problem areas (in person, telephone, remote desktop or via e-mail) by providing and facilitating technical support in a timely and accurate fashion and also provide end-user assistance where and when necessary.

* Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

* Ensure all assets are properly tracked within the Inventory tracking system.

* Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

* An A.S. or B.S. degree preferred, with at least 1 year of experience working in a technical role.

* Demonstrated knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy maintenance and Windows ACLs.

* Experience working with desktop imaging and application software.

* Possesses the ability to analyze, assess and resolve complex system level software issues.

* Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.

* Ability to read and interpret documents and standardized forms, and to communicate effectively with clients and fellow staff members.

This is a Full-Time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Hours of work may vary according to business needs. Occasional travel may be required (up to 10% of the time).
