Specialty Vehicle Technician- Penske Line at Transwest Inc in Fort Lupton, Colorado

Job Description:

Summit Body Works in Fort Lupton is a premier builder of mobile display vehicles, mobile medical, law enforcement and other specialty vehicles. We are growing and looking for top notch candidates who want to join a great team. This person would focus on our Penske Truck production line.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Assemble and install flooring, shelving, cabinetry, and electrical systems to configure various vehicle systems on a wide variety of vehicle types and sizes.

* Keep shop area neat and clean and be able to account for all dealership owned tools at all times.

* Perform functions and duties of the job that may require additional or different tasks to be performed when circumstances change (i.e., emergencies, changes in personnel, workload, rush jobs or technology developments).

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

* Requires frequent sitting, standing, balancing, bending or stooping for prolonged periods of time.

* Manual dexterity, fine manipulation and the ability to reach with hands and arms and lift up to 75 lbs.

* Must be able to operate simple to complex and heavy-duty machinery.

* Normal range of hearing and vision.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

* High School Diploma or GED.

* Valid Driver s License with good standing MVR.

* Knowledge of hardwoods and wood products is a plus.

* Strong work ethic, attention to detail and a focus on exceptional customer service.

* Candidates must be a motivated individual who can work independently.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to successfully pass a General Abilities Assessment and Post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.
