Demonstrates competence in the performance of duties related to inventory ordering and delivery of goods to locations overseen by Materials Management.

* Ensures all products are accurately labeled.

* Stocks, fills bins, rotates items to ensure products based on expiration date are utilized first. Removes expired products and processes appropriately.

* Maintains top shelf storage to be below 19.5 inches of ceiling height for all aisle shelves (excluding perimeter walls).

* Utilizes departmental drive to share and retrieve information/forms, as necessary.

* Maintains PAR locations which are organized and safe, adhering to Infection Prevention standards.

* Demonstrates competence in the performance of duties related to picking, issuing and delivering requested inventory supplies.

* Correctly picks and issues (ensuring at least 98% accuracy) items requested, confirming quantities, units of measure and accounting units within the Peoplesoft system.

* Fulfills and distributes non-electronic inventory requests as scheduled.

* Fulfills and distributes electronic inventory requests as scheduled.

* Effectively prioritizes tasks related to phone calls. Responds to calls within 5 minutes and takes necessary actions.

* Segregates specified products to designated location and distributes subset to Lab as per established protocol. Upon Lab approval, prepares product as requested for distribution.

* Prepares supply carts requested by hospital departments accurately and in a timely and emergent manner.

* Demonstrates competence in the performance of duties related to the Automated Replenishment System (ARS)

* Accesses the medication and supply consoles to properly refill fluids and supplies, correcting quantity discrepancies, monitoring expiring products, monitoring PAR levels/refill quantities and rotating products appropriately.

* Performs maintenance to ensure proper stock and bin location, bin identification and general neatness in assigned areas.

* Performs manual product expiration review every four months as assigned, removing expired product and labeling products expiring in the next cycle.

* Performs mid-cycle expiration review, removing expired and soon to be expired products.

* Demonstrates competence in the performance of duties and responsibilities related to professional performance expectations.

* Manages time effectively, is focused, well-organized, prioritizes and completes assignments/tasks by established timeframe. Exhibits flexibility in daily assignments and performance expectations, is adaptive to change.

* Actively fosters communication with entire Materials Management staff to promote a high-performing team.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

One year Inventory experience
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED/DESIRED
Five years Inventory-Distribution experience
EDUCATION MINIMUM REQUIRED
High School Diploma
EDUCATION PREFERRED/DESIRED
Associates Degree in Business related field
SPECIAL SKILLS PREFERRED/DESIRED
Ability to use computers/calculators and other electronic inventory tools
