About this Position

Responsibilities:
Serve as a DevOps Engineer to design, develop and operate the Aternity SaaS platform
- Ensure our SaaS platform is always improving and following the state of the art in areas such as infrastructure as code, continuous deployment and continuous monitoring
- Work with development teams to ensure application services running on our SaaS platform follow best practices and use the latest monitoring and testing techniques
- Assist with investigating and troubleshooting of SaaS platform and customer issues

Qualifications:
- BS/MS degree in a technical field, or equivalent military or career experience
- 3+ years of experience in a software engineering, automation or operations role
- Self-motivated and capable of high performance under minimal supervision
- A passion for automation and infrastructure as code
- Excellent communication skills

Desired Technical Skills:

- Extensive experience working with AWS
- Programming skills with languages such as Python or Node.js
- Experience writing automation and configuration management with tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform or Vagrant
- Experience developing or working with automated test and monitoring solutions
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes or other containerization/orchestration technologies
