Summary/Objective:

This highly visible and influential role with ROLINX is accountable for defining, communicating, and driving the successful execution of the product strategy and product lifecycle management for the e-Mobility Market segment. This role is responsible for the pricing strategy, profitability of the products and the generation of the product related market intelligence. In addition this role takes on the marketing ownership of the forecast process. The expectation is that this position is the ROLINX product and application expert. This is a global role.

Essential Functions:

Product roadmap and life cycle management

• Drive new product ideas out of market intelligence analysis

• Ownership of product roadmap and responsible for the marketing part in the product development process

• Managing the product life cycle including ramp up and phase out strategies but also product repositioning and product line rationalization

• Main interface to ROLINX engineering and sales channel

Product profitability

• Product line profitability and revenue growth

• Monitor business results and implement contingency plan

• Monitor new product performance & implement contingency plans

• Pricing and support strategy

• Strategic quotations (e.g. yearly contracts, price roadmaps)

• Value proposition design & creation

• Definition of sales channel

• Customer satisfaction

Drive Market segment growth initiatives

• Comprehensively understand customers’ engineering approach

• Competitive products and technologies

• Customer development

• Value chain analysis

• Identification of new markets with existing products or new products for existing markets

• Business case development to drive investment to support identified growth

Support of annual and strategic plan with ownership of the product related topics

Marketing & Communication

• Support the definition & execution of Marcom activities for products

• Webpage content for products and applications

• Selling tools

Budgeting/Forecasting

• Support overall global budgeting and forecasting for the responsible segment.

Required Education and Experience:

• BS Engineering/Science or BS Business/Marketing

• 10+ years technical product marketing (or combination of product marketing and technical sales experience)

• Experience in working in an international environment with interfaces in Asia, Europe and North America

• Significant data mining and research experience in emerging and adjacent markets

• Proven track record of leading effective teams (either directly or in a matrix organization)

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of the EV/HEV Market and key members of the value chain

• Consulting industry experience in a business development role

• Proficiency in all relevant product marketing tools

• Position can be located in Chandler Arizona or remote

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

• Deep experience in working with automotive OEMs

• Master’s degree in Engineering or Sciences with an MBA
