We are currently seeking a motivated, articulate and dynamic GIS - Environmental Scientist supporting our energy practice with a focus on Offshore Energy practice.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting multiple projects in a team-setting
  
  


• A willingness to learn to leverage existing systems, templates and workflows is key
  
  


• The candidate will be detail oriented and will be asked to manage extremely large datasets within the confines of stringent agreements with clients
  
  

Requirements:

• BS in GIS/Geography/Environmental Science/Environmental Management/Marine Science/Engineering or related focus
  
  


• 0 to 4 years of professional experience with a pattern of progressive achievements
  
  


• The successful candidate will have experience with ArcGIS or similar software and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  
  

• Degree in Marine Science, Marine Affairs, Planning, M.B.A. or related degree
  
  


• Experience with Python, ArcPy, and/or Model Builder, in creating scripts to streamline GIS processes
  
  


• Familiarity with XTools in ArcGIS environment
  
  


• Adobe Illustrator experience, specifically used for cartographic purposes
  
  


• Experience using Global Mapper, QGIS, or any other non-ESRI GIS software
  
  


• Technical background in marine/coastal/offshore setting
