* Performs paint preparation and paint application assignments under the direction of a team group leader.
* Works independently from blueprints and process sheets to meet specified tolerances and visual requirements of the product.
* Responsible for the quality, finish and color to comply with military specifications. Selects and utilizes the proper tools and equipment to complete task.
* Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.
* Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
* Ability to perform performing repetitive, detailed work.
MINIMUM:
* Minimum 1-2 years experience within the Aviation/ Aerspace, Auto body, Paint, Composite, Fiberglass, or Marine indrustries. Preferences given to those with previous experience working within the Aerospace/ Aviation industry.
* High School Diploma or GED Certificate
* Experience in the use of HVLP paint guns to performing finish coat painting in accordance to specifications where high-grade finishes are required.
* In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be"eligible" to obtain and maintain security clearance, which requires USA Citizenship
* Experience with a PC windows environment
PREFERRED:
* Experience maintaining paint booths and painting equipment in accordance with instructions and procedures.
* Experience discerning color shades.
* Experience reading and interpreting drawings and specifications.
