We have an opportunity for a Distribution Supervisor to join our Moorpark, CA team. You will lead the shipping team to provide adequate resources, on-going work direction, and problem solving to ensure business goals are met in the shipping department.

You will:

* Oversee shipping team tactical and strategic activities, maintain accurate timekeeping records, schedule vacations, and ensure team support of company policies and procedures for distribution team.

* Ensure on time delivery of daily requirements while achieving best possible POR results. This activity will be at line item detail as it relates to all orders due each day. Communicate as necessary to get adequate support to achieve highest results.

* Establish and maintain shipping Team Schedules to ensure proper manpower coverage for shipping department shifts.

* * Daily improve by using MDI tools and Lean applications while being a change agent for the department. This includes audit activities to sustain all new processes.

Key Qualifications:

* 3 5 years of experience in shipping operations

* College degree or active degree program in progress

* Experience with Planning and Scheduling, Personnel Management, LEAN, ERP and basic computer skills

* Able to communicate effectively in the English language.

* Ability to communicate in Spanish a plus
