Position Description:
We are expanding the SEI Investments User Experience Team within Global Marketing at our Oaks, Pennsylvania headquarters, and are looking to add a Senior User Experience Designer with a passion for the research, design and development of engaging user experiences. The Senior UX Designer is responsible for researching, conceptualizing and designing detailed solutions that support SEI's Global Marketing, sales, and solution efforts.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with our business units, marketing and technology teams, and members of the broader creative group. You will play a central role in the creation of digital products that help our customers and prospective customers understand and believe in SEI while making it easy for them to do business with us digitally.
As a Senior UX Designer, you will participate in the user research, discovery, design and implementation phases all while influencing the creation and evolution of our company-wide UX process. At the project level, you will create wireframes, prototypes, information architecture, pattern libraries, standards and guidelines working closely with tech leads and developers. At the broader level, you will create and support defining the process, tools, techniques, and deliverables as we establish a best in class UX team. You will lead efforts to align experiences, strategies and solutions that enable our business objectives through the creation of highly usable, efficient and delightful user interfaces.
This position requires an individual who can successfully work in a dynamic environment with continually evolving business needs. Deadline driven project assignments and our iterative approach to development processes require a professional with excellent adaptability and communication skills.

What you'll do:

Identify customer needs and requirements by working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
-
Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify and conduct additional research.
-
Design and specify digital experience concepts and designs using iterative design techniques, including persona creation, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing

Effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas and detailed design rationale both verbally and visually.

Create functional specifications for development teams, then collaborate to ensure consistent and standardized designs across our digital experiences.

Use learnings from each project to define and expand our global design system.

Evangelize experience design throughout the organization.

Plan and manage time appropriately to deliver high quality work on time.
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor's degree in a design-related discipline
- 10+ years of experience as a UX practitioner
- Experience in the design and documentation of complex interfaces
- Expertise in modern visual and interactive product design
- Thorough understanding of modern web technologies
- Proficiency in rapid wireframing, prototyping and design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, Figma.
- Extensive experience and competency conducting and analyzing usability research
- Experience in data visualization a plus
- A portfolio demonstrating your experience researching and creating great user-centered designs
- Proven ability to effectively interact and collaborate in a cross-disciplinary, creative team environment comprised of user experience designers, marketing managers, developers, key stakeholders and executive leaders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly creative, organized and detail-oriented
- Passionate about delivering the best user experience possible
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent projects
