The Business Development Executive is a critical and highly visible role essential to execution of Equifax’s USIS business strategy. The Business Development Executive is responsible for partnership engagements to augment Equifax capabilities in fraud, risk, or marketing solutions.
We are looking for candidates that are well-networked with experience selling data solutions through partnership engagements specifically relating to the Fraud, Marketing or Risk solutions ecosystem.

What You’ll Do
Identify and pursue partnership engagements to augment Equifax capabilities and data solutions
Lead partnership co-innovation projects to create new solution offerings that drive mutual benefit
Prospect and identify new growth opportunities to expand Equifax’s scale and scope across various industry verticals
Grow new business development pipeline to deliver on growth targets by developing a deep understanding of the customer’s business objectives and translating that understanding into a unique value proposition that Equifax can deliver
Create deals and deal structures that deliver significant revenue performance based on clear understanding of the Equifax value proposition
Collaborate with vertical and sales leadership to understand the business’ growth strategy and execute on new business development plan to achieve those enterprise objectives
Be an advocate for the partner while maintaining a holistic view of the relationship on a day-to-day operational and strategic level
Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, Data & Analytics, Finance, & Technology to maximize opportunity funnel
Present recommendations and sponsor changes to our products and service offering to ensure partnership remains ahead of the competition
Maintain deep understanding of contractual relationship and track/enforce obligations
Contribute to refinement of new business development strategy and its execution
Qualifications
5-7 years of experience in client facing, new business development sales in the Fraud, Marketing or Risk solutions ecosystem
Experience selling data and insights driven solutions
Experience with identifying and pursuing partnerships and partnership co-innovation projects to create new data solution offerings that drive mutual benefit
Must understand the value of selling data and have a strong network within a relevant industry such as financial services, healthcare, retail, automotive, insurance, or telecommunications
BS / BA from a top university in a related field or equivalent experience
Proven and reference-able track record developing new business and delivering revenue growth through direct sales
Comfortable with a ‘hunter’ type role, able to quickly build pipeline and qualify an opportunity in or out
Executive level sales, account and relationship management skills essential to influence decision making
Ability to operate and succeed in a matrix organization, and collaborating effectively with a cross-functional team to align and coordinate internal resources
Refined skills in developing and delivering compelling presentations
Executive presence and comfort level presenting to senior executive levels
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Self-starter and driven professional who enjoys partnering and problem solving
Strong business acumen and desire to succeed in a fast paced environment
