BS in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. PLUS Practice Residency or Specialist Certification (BCPS, BCCCP, BCOPS, etc)
Licensure in the State of Oregon
Development and implementation of Multidisciplinary Antibiotic Allergy Programs and supporting documentation/protocols
Pharmaceutical care principles
Age related modification of drug therapy
Disease-related modification of drug therapy
Evaluate medical literature
Work independently without minimal direct supervision
Handle multiple tasks and frequent interruptions
Interpersonal skills, formal and informal communication, including presentations
Project management concepts
Work with multidisciplinary teams and pharmacy staff in a professional, collaborative, and cooperative manner

The pharmacist will experience competing demands from nurses, physicians, pharmacy staff and other healthcare professionals, as they attempt to influence clinical decision-making, clinical policies and practices and work flow

Ability to deal with frequent interruptions (work is often dictated by external factors) that may lead to mental fatigue or stress

PGY-2 Specialty Residency in Infectious Diseases.
Training from an allergist in the proper management of these patients and procedures for performing antibiotic allergy testing
