We are currently hiring a Financial Analyst, Cost Planning at our Pennsylvania Brewery.
The Financial Analyst is responsible for ensuring COGS financial information is properly planned, reported and analyzed in a timely and accurate manner to allow for more efficient business decision making by Senior Management.
What You'll Do:
- Prepare/distribute and conduct monthly review meetings with Operations & Procurement, dissect various contribution levers to aid in the overall understanding of key business drivers
- Responsible for development of internal reporting as it relates to COGS & Inventory
- Contribute to preparation of financial planning/forecasting presentations for Senior Management as it relates to COGS
- Participate in Month/Quarter/Year End Accounting close & audit process
- Create financial reports, as directed and perform appropriate analyses within Anaplan system
- Deliver improvements in the assigned reporting areas
- Create financial models, as directed and perform appropriate analyses of any short or long-term business strategies that impact the Company.
- Assist in monthly/quarterly close processes where applicable
- Responsible for monthly consolidation of cost savings initiatives
- Play a key role in the Supply Chain Transformation initiative by tracking savings projects and actual spend vs. budgets
- Provide ad hoc analysis upon request.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively lead and collaborate with the Operations business partners and Finance team to identify and recommend process improvements that will deliver financial benefits or mitigate financial risks.
What We're Looking For:
- At least 2-4 years of demonstrated contributions to team efforts through strong financial modeling and analysis skills
- Demonstrated ability to use advanced analytical competencies to analyze and leverage data from internal and external sources, and persuasively present findings
- Experience in cost accounting, financial planning and forecasting, statistical modeling, and an ability to understand and analyze cost metrics
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to successfully influence cross-functionally
- High sense of urgency and the ability to handle numerous requests simultaneously
- Strong time management and project management skills are necessary
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
- Financial reporting experienced preferred
- BA/BS in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics or quantitative methods preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required. SAP experience preferred.
- Consumer products experience preferred.
