Job Description:
Responsible for materials and inventory management functions to include: order placement and tracking, receiving, stocking, selecting, packing, shipping and supplier performance management. May also include coordinating the collection and delivering of company supplies and media. Provides direct supervision to exempt employees, or non-exempt supply attendants and clerks. Establishes goals and maintains records to measure productivity, quality, safety, and attendance. Utilizes a variety of mechanized systems to provide balance accuracy, create efficiencies in report data, track cost and maintain budget analysis. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of functions. Works on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action. Typically reports into the 2nd Level of Management. SUPERVISORY: YESThis position may be responsible for contributing to AT&T s compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.
