GENERAL SUMMARY: The Seasonal Forecasting & Demand Planning Analyst is primarily responsible for door level forecasting and aggregate demand planning for all assigned retail chains. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of supply chain systems and structures, the ability to work alone as well as in a team environment, the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, and demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of Management. This position works directly with Sales Account Executives and leads the dialogue in chain-specific strategies for each holiday.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Initiate and drive discussions to attain alignment with business partners (Account Executives, Marketing and Sr. Forecast Analysts) regarding demand assumptions and recommendations
Review and analyze account POS information to assist in assessing the state of the business and to find opportunities for growth
Analyze output of forecasting model and refine data based on prior year and current, door-level trends
Recommend adjustments for operational forecasts
Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to the Forecasting process
Timely release of forecast adjustments to meet program master schedule dates
Add/subtract forecasts based on new/closing doors
Respond to field requests to maintain order integrity
Write door-level replenishment and/ or recovery orders to supplement initial order
Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of demand planning processes
Participate in special projects as needed

Experience Required:
Ability to demonstrate proficient communication and interpersonal skills while interacting with peers and management
Strong analytical, problem solving and math skills
Advanced Excel, Access, Word, Power Point, Outlook; knowledge of COGNOS or custom reporting package is valuable
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to understand and maneuver between customer information sources/systems and corporate systems
Ability to manage large volumes of data and analysis simultaneously
Strong follow-up skills.
