RESPONSIBILITIES

New opportunity for a Field Service Engineer with the Bruker BioSpin EPR Service and Lifecycle Support Team providing service support to the Americas Region.

* Provide technical assistance on-site and by telephone to support Customer needs.

* Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and installation of EPR Spectrometer systems.

* Ensure full functionality and proper site operation of Customer EPR systems.

* Maintain accurate customer, repair, and inventory records in the department database system.

* Coordinate with internal SLS and Company Teams to share knowledge and experience.

* Serve as a supportive and effective communication link between the Customer and Company to ensure full service and support satisfaction.

* Perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Minimum 3 years Life Sciences Field Service work experience diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical, electromechanical and/or electronic equipment required with demonstrated mathematical abilities.

* Bachelor Degree desirable in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Chemistry related fields

* Strong technical skills involving analytical instrumentation.

* Strong knowledge of EPR, NMR, electronics, high voltage circuits preferred.

* Excellent customer focus with ability to reliably respond to inquiries, communicate and interact with Scientists holding advanced education in Chemistry, Physics or Biology.

* Strong oral, written, MS Office, mathematical and technical data, communication and presentation skills.

* Ability to speak and read English required.

* Highly motivated professional with proven ability to work effectively as both an individual contributor and team player in a global, customer-oriented work environment.

* Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and positive business relationships.

* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. & transport equipment & tools in excess of 300 lbs.

* Valid Driver License in good standing, issued by resident state required.

* U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.

* Maintain a valid passport with flexibility for frequent domestic and some international travel.

* May be required to pass security clearance investigation.

* Proven ability to complete position training, follow standard safety codes and practices.
